Whew, so many events going on lately! This one's for my DC ladies.
I admit, I'm a little obsessed with booties. But until the lower level lines start copying this trend, I can't really afford it. Here's a pair I would kill to have, but they're $330, not exactly in my price range. But in case one of my lovely readers can afford them (or really wants to buy them for me) you can get them at Zappos.
This is the type of dog I have and they are so sweet and gentle and I want more! There are two types, the Papillion and the Phalene. The first means butterfly and the ears are up and the second means moth and the ears are down. Christina is so lucky to have one of each! Plus she gets bonus points for originality since I can't think of a single other celebrity who owns ones, not even the Osbournes!

I really adore Helen Wang, and here is a very cute skirt by her that is marked down from $120 to $70. I think wearing it with some opaque black tights would be very now. Get it on Amazon (or you can find it on Bluefly too).

We've all heard of the Diane von Furstenberg warp dress, really a timeless classic for the chic fasshonaburu. Unfortunately, not everyone can afford a $345 dress (I know I can't). But here's a great dress that looks DVF, but is really London Times! It's only $78 and you can get it at Nordstrom.
Check out these totally Asian-inspired sandals, I absolutely love them. They remind me of gieshas, except they look like they would be a little more comfortable. Worst part of these shoes is Yoox only has them in a size 9. Best part is they were originally $290 but are marked down to $42.

Since showing in 2005, I've definitely though this was a designer to watch. Yigal Azrouel seems to mix classic shapes with funky patterns seemlessly. Celebrities like Iman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Rachel McAdams all love the clothes. You can preorder his stuff at Saks.
I tend to like cuffs, something about how they're unisex. And I like these cuz they're not too hard-ass (they have a certain elegance) and they come in a good selection of colors (more than the picture shows). Get one at Hayden-Harnett for $88.
I like animal print and I'm glad it always seems to be for Fall. But I think it's best to by minimal about it, too much and it gets a bit overwhelming /fashion victimy. Here's a cute top that's only $50 with just a hint of wild child. Get it at Bluefly.

As we all know, Chanel Black Satin nail polish is the It color of the season. There hasn't been this much of a frenzy since Vamp nail polish came out. So, of course, you can't get it bloody anywhere (I would know, I tried). Of course, Ebay is always there to save you. Just be willing to spend $119 and Black Satin can be all yours! Of course, there are much cheaper versions on Ebay, but I'm still in shock that some people would think other people would spend that much on nail polish. Anyway, I got some WetnWild in Black Creme and it did the job just fine.

There's something very "artistic French" about this sweater that I really like, I love the bright hues and how it almost looks like brush strokes. The over-sized cowlneck is really cute too. You can buy it at Anthropologie for $118, not too bad for that store.
I like it when people make clothes out of sweater material because it's soooo comfy and soft. It's not clothing you're fighting against, you know? The best way I can describe it is malleable. You can get this blazer at Nordstrom for $256.

It's amazing what the right accessory can do for an outfit. It can pull it together or make it look completely different. I think this obi is one of those right accessories. Whenever you put something on and you think, "Hmmm, I could look a little more punk rock," this is what you reach for. But it's not overwhelming either, it's just right. Get it at ShopBop for $53.

I would say that the Spring 2007 ready-to-wear lines at fashion week focused on light airy dresses and skirts, lots of white and beige and pops of yellow and blue.

Heidi Klum recently started a jewelry line that you can purchase on QVC. It's nothing really exciting. It's all clover-themed and prices range from $50-$175. I do like this hammered and polished ring for $87. Perfect for the person who needs a goodluck charm.

A true fasshonaburu gal pays attention to the details. This thermos is tres chic for carrying life-saving coffee or a snack of soup. Get it at We Shop To Give, a cute store which donates to a list of charities that you can choose from!

Here's a beautiful halter top that's sold by Tarsian & Brinkey,
"the first in socially responsible, Afghan-made, hand-embroidered
organic clothing." I love the color and it would sparkle beautiful on a
night out hitting the town. I like shiny objects!
This beautiful necklace first caught my eye in "The Devil Wears Prada" (I seriously can't wait for that on DVD). Many weeks later, by some stroke of luck, I stumbled upon it online at Twist. Now I just need another stroke of luck to win the lottery so I can afford the $1,037 necklace.

If it ain't Baroque...
These are one of the It shoes of Fall, Miu Miu's Baroque wedges. I have to say, they do certainly stand out. Get them at the fabulous Net-A-Porter for $635. But they're really priceless when it comes to the amount of fawning over you'll get!
I've heard more than one celebrity wax poetic about the comforts of James Perse's clothes. They're usually jersey and very simple but if you have the extra cash I'm betting they're so worth it. You can get this one at eLuxury for $60.

These aren't the most exciting shoes, not really a pair you want to show off. But I take the metro to work every day and winter is coming. I refuse to wear a pair of ugly sneakers but there's no way I can wear my heels for that trek. Here's a perfectly stylish pair of comfy flats in waterproof leather, which is perfect the unpredicatable weather on it's way. Get them at Amazon for $120.

For the fasshonaburu who watches her figure, this is a perfect workout top. The tiny pocket can fit keys or your cash and cards or even an iPod (there's a cord feed)! You can get it at Gracie's Gear & Training for $33.
From the reports of fellow fasshonaburus, it appears that clothes for spring won't be pastel, but there will be dashes of hot pink. White and cream will also be big and it seems like designers used a good amount of yellow as well. Silhouettes were varied, sleek, full, everything in between, though so far every big show has had one jumpsuit in the line.

Design your own purse at B's Purses. Of course you can't really design the shape, but they do have a large selection of shape to choose from. Then you get to choose all the fabrics - handles, rim, side fabrics, lining & possibly more - as well as monograming and the like. Here are some sample purses:
I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a jacket or a sweater, but either way it's absolutely fantastic. I adore the stand-up collar and the fact that it's merino wool. I don't adore the fact that it's $198, though. Get it at Kenneth Cole.
