The Olsen Twins Try Grown-Up Fashion

From Walmart to Women's Wear Daily: The twins are aiming for high fashion with their new clothing collections.

They make front pages for their own head-turning fashion choices, and now MARY-KATE and ASHLEY OLSEN have announced they are collaborating on a hip new line for young women called ELIZABETH AND JAMES -- after their less-famous siblings.

Ashley tells Women's Wear Daily the clothes are aimed at young women in their "early 20s" who are "figuring out life and just experimenting."

The collection will include leather jackets, T-shirts, pencil skirts, cashmere sweaters, fur jackets, silk dresses and minidresses, ranging from about $80 to $600 when they hit upscale New York stores like Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman this fall.

MK and Ashley also just rolled out a more expensive line (think $195 T-shirts) called The Row at Barneys New York -- a far cry from their ruffly bathing suits and floral tops and bottoms for pre-teens under their Mary Kate and Ashley label at Walmart.
