The Heart Truth Red Dress Collection

So Internet seems to currently be down, grrrrr. You’d think they’d be better set up or something! So sorry about the empty site today! *OMG I GOT IN* The first show I went to was The Heart Truth Red Dress Collection. I hope my fashion week didn’t peak too early because it was AWESOME. And then Liza closed the show by SINGING NEW YORK NEW YORK. I can’t believe I’ve now seen her live, I feel very special. Oh, and Laura Bush gave a speech in the beginning, ha.
Some of these celebs I did not know, I guess I don’t watch enough popular TV. But the program assures me that they are all famous and noteworthy.
I’ve always been a big fan of the campaign, because not many women know how prevalent heart disease is in women. Plus who doesn’t love the merging of a good cause and fashion? The only thing that confuses me is their slogan is “Heart disease doesn’t care what you wear-it’s the number one killer of women.” So, if it doesn’t care, why are we all wearing red?
