Lust for Less: Serena's Leather Jacket
Most people I know are totally lusting after Serena's leather jacket on "Gossip Girl." Well, it's been found and the price tag will quite possibly make you cry. But at least now you know that it's a Just Cavalli faux ostrich leather jacket that will run you £1,200 or about $2,300 US dollars at Harrod's. So really anything I find will be cheaper at this point! 
This D&G leather bomber is very similar, though it has black trim. It would cost $1,195 at eLuxury.
This leather jacket by Vince also has the chest pockets going for it, but doesn't really feel quite vintage like. It costs $725 at Saks.
This very dark brown leather jacket also lacks that vintage feel, but it is on sale for $315 at Neiman Marcus!

I have a Vince jacket from a year ago that's got avintage-feel, because of the leather they used. Maybe this is a slicker leather. The Vince might be alright, if you could see it yourself. Too bad that original is so expensive. It's outlandish.
Why must you make a $1,200 leather jacket seem reasonable!?!
