This is a beautiful piece, though do you think it would be slippery, thus hard to hold? Buy at the MoMA Store for $295.

This is a genius product! Buy a cute plastic bag that folds up nice and tiny to keep your purse dry and safe if it suddenly starts raining! It comes in a variety of colors, including clear, and two sizes, small and large. Buy at Rain Couture for $69 - $79.
I love metal hardware, especially for fall! This Alice + Olivia tunic is on sale, thought still out of my price range :( I would totally pair this with my gray leather leggings and some tall booties! Buy at Ivy Blue, once $385 but now $265.

Cropped, slightly boxy shaped faux fur jackets are a great way to finish off a party look this fall! I love the style and shape of this one, though I think a slate gray would have been the perfect color (I'm so boring like that). Buy at Delia*s for $70.
Hello boots of my dreams!!! They're a perfect combination of casual, tough and chic! I can totally see myself not knowing what shoes to wear, and pulling these on - either for a casual outfit or maybe for a fun contrast with something dressier. Buy at Wink NYC for $288.

So you just realized Halloween is next week and don't have a costume?? I have two possible ideas that are cheap & easy for you!
The first one is a "Prom Night" costume. Just find a cheap evening dress (Forever 21, Charlotte Russe or H&M are good places to look - the one I found is $25 at Wet Seal!), buy some fake blood to splatter all over it, and finish off with some pumps and a tiara!
The second look assumes you already have skinny black pants, a white button down shirt and a blazer. To become Karl Lagerfeld, all you need to add is a tie, some fingerless driving gloves, sunglasses and maybe a few bits of bling. And don't forget the silver hairspray!

Lindsey Lohan has helped create a limited edition purse for friend Charlotte Ronson. The handbag, a slouchy canvas satchel with leather pockets and studded charms, is exclusive to Charlotte Ronson stores in Japan and costs 29,400 yen, or $295.91. Is Lilo heading towards the actress / designer slashie?? First leggings, now a purse, and supposedly she's in talks with Italy’s Fornarina about developing a more full-fledged fashion collection!
Sigh, another country that needs to send me pieces not sold here in the States, maybe I should start some sort of international fashion swapping community...

Mikhael Kale is a true up and coming designer who's getting tons of buzz from fashion insiders! Picked up by the Canadian Luxury retail chain Holt Renfrew after only showing two collections, he studied in London at Central Saint Martins and worked in Milan. His style is very gothic, techno-inspired - sleek, sexy and architectural. I love his pieces, but haven't found any online yet, which is driving me nuts! Could one of our friends up North please help me out?
I haven't posted upcoming sale in awhile!

"Prosecutors in Italy suspect Gucci Group staff of breaking into the Ministry of the Interior's data bank. Which means Gucci's got a full-on spy scandal on their hands! We know this is probably a horrible, horrible, annoying thing for Gucci to deal with, but labeling it a "spy scandal" gives it such a James Bond glam quality — and everything Gucci's involved in must be glam, after all. Gucci offices in Italy could be in disarray since prosecutors ordered a search of them this week. Italian authorities have ordered the arrest of seven people they suspect of obtaining information illegally, including Carlo Del Bo, Gucci’s former head of security. A Gucci spokesman said the company must ensure its suppliers don't employ child laborers and make regular tax payments and they don't know how this information is obtained. But many private investigators in Italy are former cops or tax officers, so they could have access to secret data banks and files.
Del Bo's arrest is also connected to a wiretapping scandal. In July it was reported that Alessandra Facchinetti's phone was tapped when she headed design for Gucci, though no one knows why."
I wonder if a Fendi Spy bag was carried throughout the thing!

I love the sleek look of a leather blazer, but they can be quite pricey!
This Alexander Wang one from Shop Bop is a massive $1,350!
I really like this one by Madison Marcus, but it's still an investment at $876 at Pink Mascara.
So here's probably the best deal I found, costing $340 at Bloomingdale's and coming in red, black or brown.
But times are tough, so here's on more option, a ruched collar blazer from Newport News on sale for $189.

A lot of girls have been rocking flap front purses that are just a step a way from a messenger bag, kinda like this leather one here. I like how it's interesting while remaining simple and chic! Does it look a bit like a saddle bag to you? Buy at Topshop for $90.
Super cute cashmere gloves! Buy in pink with black bows or vice versa for $65 at White + Warren and they're donate 50% of the proceeds during Oct to Women at Risk, an organization dedicated to educating and aiding women with or at risk of breast cancer.
I'm not sure how I feel about beige to black ombré visually, but it's so versatile that I still obsess over it! Wear black or brown shoes with this skirt, it doesn't matter! Or, best of all, some hot pink crocodile pumps. Buy at Bloomingdale's for $109.
