Twinkle By Wenlan F/W '10

There is something about the Twinkle by Wenlan line that just makes me smile. She sends highly wearable looks down the runway that are also playful and quirky. Gorgeous chunky knits and fun, colorful patterns are the name of the game with Twinkle. This season the collection was inspired by the wooded environs of fairy tale Hansel and Gretal. The exposed zippers, hardware heavy accessories, and strong lines in some of the pieces underscore the fact that Gretal isn't waiting around for Hansel to save the day, she can take care of herself!

This knit dress was a real stand out to me:

For me, one of the most anticipated aspects of the Twinkle runway show is the jewelry, which is all designed by Wenlan Chia as well. This season, with chunky ropes and chains of metal definitely putting an edge to the lost innocent in the woods motif, well, I'm already seriously coveting!
