Styling Neon Nomad

I've been playing around with Coutorious as a way to test out looks, I seriously could spend all day adding and removing pieces from an outfit to see what the effect is! I was focusing on building a look around a bright tribal/ikat piece today and came up with this - I'm so pleased with the results that I decided to share with you!

I've already written about electro tye dye for spring, and the neon nomad look is just a slight print variation away! So how do you style these kinds of looks into your wardrobe?

What I like about this outfit is that instead of taking the easy way out and pairing with some black bottoms, I went with a color that managed to look neutral anyway! And paired with a snakeskin shawl, it mixes up prints without feeling very "in your face" about it. I also like the idea of pairing bright ikat with wood-based platform sandals, which is usually a good balance of boho and edgey aesthetics.

So what do you think of the look? And should I come up with longer photo editorials using the Coutorious tool?
