Callula Lillibelle S/S '11

Callula Lillibelle is an affordable new contemporary line that is meant to take women "from desk to dinner." With classic tailoring combined with touches of fun it should do just that. Highlights of the collection included bright burst of neon color, jackets and wraps that looked like they may have been attacked by Jackson Pollack, and jackets with high, ruffled, shoulders.

Unfortunately, by the time I got there the poor models had been standing for two hours (with one more hour to go) already under hot lights with no a/c, and, as you can see from the pictures, the natives were getting a bit restless. I ended up standing in line for the restroom with a couple of the models though, and chatted a bit. They were just all too adorable! When they are towering above you, all made up, with their blank model stares, its so easy to forget how young they are. But, really, most of them are basically just kids, albeit genetically gifted ones.

The dress on the left was my favorite piece of the collection. I want it!
