My Style Challenge: Polished Leather Shorts

I was going to meet the twin sisters behind Lizzie Fortunato Jewels and have dinner with frequent contributor, Kathy, who was visiting from NYC, all in one day! So I obviously had to craft a chic look for my busy schedule! It was a gloriously warm fall day, which means one thing: leather shorts!!!

I previously rocked my leather shorts with a slouchy animal print, so I wanted to style them a bit differently - more tailored and all about color! Add in some fun flats for anticipated walking all over and layer on some chic jewelry to complete the look!
I'm wearing: C3 yellow sweater, Gryphon leather shorts from, blazer courtesy of Zara, Marc by Marc Jacobs fox flats (aren't they AWESOME??), Foley + Corinna bag with vintage scarf, and lots of jewelry - arrowhead necklace from Urban Outfitters, Marc by Marc Jacobs red pendant, pink Juicy Couture bracelets, rhinestone bangle from CUSP, black ring from ShopBop and Tina Tang wedding band!
I tried to add a touch of schoolboy disheveled by half tucking in my top - it's a very difficult art form to master! That along with focusing a camera, which seemed to be all over the place during this shoot :O
I'm pretty comfortable with layering bracelets on now, but still unsure about necklaces! A tip - for pendants, try and space them about 1.5 inches apart. I think buying 10 inch, 12 inch and 14 inch chains to string pendants on would be the perfect way to start a foray in necklace layering!!

Leather Shorts are really stylish in looks in the above post. The Brown color is looking attractive on them.
