My Style Challenge: Adding Color

I bought this dress many months ago when Target decided to resell some of their bestselling pieces from their various designer collborations. I was pretty thrilled to snatch this gem from the Thakoon collaboration up, which I had missed first time around. But I literally haven't worn it until today as it's such a fall/winter piece and I refuse to not wear color during the summer!

Not that I didn't add in my own brights anyway! Turns out any seasonal piece can morph with the right accessories - pair a sun dress with a black tux, thick tights and booties and it works for fall. But I never really thought about making a fall piece work for summer - just add in some color!
I'm wearing: Thakoon for Target dress, blazer courtesy of Zara, pink BP scarf from Nordstrom, Michael Michael Kors purple heels from Net-A-Porter, black tights courtesy of Kushy Foot, Oliver Peoples sunglasses pushed back, and lots of jewelry! On my left, wedding band by Tina Tang, purple J. Crew wrap bracelet, pink rhinestone bangle from CUSP, pink Juicy Couture fabric and chain bracelet. On my right, I was wearing a ring and pearl bracelet from my mom, and another Juicy Couture bracelet.
I think I still look appropriately fall-esque, but the color adds a nice, cheery touch, don't you think?
