My Style Challenge: Art Retrospective

Yesterday I went with my bestie Alyssa to see the Roy Lichtenstein exhibit at the National Gallery of Art! It's been too long since I've taken advantage of DC's amazing culture, so I was super happy to have made the last day of this retrospective. And of course I had to take advantage of the fabulous setting to take some outfit pictures!

It was a grey, foggy day in DC, so I wanted to stay warm and look cheery! Time for layers and tights and socks at the same time, hooray! I'm wearing: C3 sweater from Bluefly, Madewell skirt, boots from ASOS, Foley + Corinna purse, J. Crew jacket.
The exhibit was amazing - I was shocked at how prolific Lichtenstein was! Most people only know a handful of his work, but he did so much in his career! I fell in love with his Chinese landscapes:
Beautiful, right?? I definitely need to buy myself a framed print or two for my walls!
And of course his comic art was all over! I've always loved his romanace series, featuring captioned close-ups of women using his iconic dots!
It was great to get out and soak up some art!
