Talbot's = Fashion Hell?

I admit, I've always had contempt for Talbot's. But when my friend recently said it was full of "old people clothes," I had a sudden urge to prove her wrong. I like to argue with people, which is both one of my best and worst qualities ;)
Anyhoo, I set off on a quest to find some wearable pieces that weren't so basic no one could screw them up. These are the results:

Mint by Jodi is having an online sale, so I go to check it out and of course I immediately desire the dress NOT on sale. But it's so edgy cool and it's the same price as pieces that are on sale. Not that I could afford it anyway. Buy it for $385.

HAPPY EARTH DAY! Here's a bamboo dress, totally eco-friendly and yet so chic and professional! You don't have to be boho to help the environment. Buy this in lavender, white or black for $190 at Nimli.

This dress is perfect for the safari trend going on now, but won't look overly trendy later on when glam rock jock style is in vogue (or whatever!). Best of all it's on sale at Neiman Marcus, originally $215 but now just $151. Worst of all, they still have my size and I'm not allowed to buy anything this month!
