Lucky girl!!! Michelle Trachtenberg snagged a huge guest spot on "Gossip Girl," now there's talks of her becoming a regular character on the show! And apparently she's had her own jewelry line since 2006. When I first heard, I thought she was using her GG fame to launch a line, but she's already taken the plunge. Wow, every piece is handmade by her, that's awesome! Right now it's sold out near everywhere, but you can find pieces at Milk and Fred Segal. I get the feeling she won't be able to make them herself for much longer...

Torrid's New Bridal Collection

Torrid, an affordable and popular plus size fashion site, has launched a bridal collection! Wow, you could get yourself a wedding dress for under $250, great for brides smart enough to save their money for their honeymoon! There are also bridesmaid dresses, lingerie, tons of cute accessories and a plethora of Spanx.

Ribbon Tied Pearl Necklace

I love ribbon tied necklaces, but the Lanvin and Marni versions would run you at least $460! Luckily, J. Crew has a classic pearl version for $200, which may not be cheap but at least it's cheaper!

Mother's Day Gift Ideas

Mother's day is this Sunday, are you prepared??? I've compiled some ideas for you, in case you're about to hit panic mode. I think a sun hat would be great to protect mom's skin from the sun. Most moms like jewelry or scarves as a fail safe back up. And skincare usually works, though you need to remember that by now your mom may have already found a routine that works for her. Plus, it may be offensive to give her some anti-wrinkle serum - be sure to know how your mom may feel about it first. But nothing beats spending time with her, booking a mother daughter spa treatment would make her day!

I didn't know coral jewelry could be eco-friendly; in my mind I always imagined people tearing up coral reefs for trinkets. But apparently there are environmentally friendly pieces, like this handmade coral necklace! Buy at Tobi for $126.

I doubt anyone who reads my site can afford a $645 necklace (including me!), but it amused me so much I had to share it anyway! Besides, maybe Forever 21 will come out with something "inspired" by this Vivienne Westwood Red Label piece. If you do have to own this, no matter the cost, you can order it from Net-A-Porter. You would certainly win in the statement necklace contest.

I am totally feeling these bangles, especially the gray ones! I think they're look so hot with a bright yellow shirt or something. Because brights are in, but you don't want bright jewelry with bright clothing, pick just one! You can buy these at Ted Rossi from $195 to $248.
